From January 1, 2003 through June 30, 2007, the Junior Seau
Foundation committed $2,683,334 to San Diego's most
vulnerable population - the children. This amount
includes $365,000 designated to the endowment fund. |

corporate sponsors, individual donors, Chargers, NFL
alumni and amateur athletes team with the Foundation to
give underprivileged children a gift certificate for
$100 and the opportunity to shop for gifts for their

the desire, but not the means to achieve their dreams

The Junior Seau Foundation was established in 1992 to
raise money and resources for programs that inspire
young people to face life's challenges with enthusiasm,
hope and dignity. For over 15 years, the Foundation has
given San Diego-area youth ongoing financial support for
a variety of programs. While each of these programs are
unique, all satisfy the Foundation's overall mission; To
educate and empower young people through the support of
child abuse prevention, drug and alcohol awareness,
recreational opportunities, anti-juvenile delinquency
efforts and complimentary educational programs. Some of
