10th Annual Teammates Luncheon

Each year, the Junior Seau Foundation honors a San Diego athlete for their dedication to the community.

Hundreds of distinguished businesspeople from Southern California enjoy a lunch time affair recognizing the efforts of an All-Star athlete for their commitment to helping those less fortunate.

A portion of the proceeds from the luncheon are directed to the charity of the honorees’ choice.

Past honorees include:
Jimmie Johnson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Drew Brees, Trevor Hoffman, Doug Flutie, Rodney Harrison and Trevor Hoffman. In 2007, the Foundation went off the playing field for the first time in honoring Bob Breitbard, founder of the San Diego Hall of Champions, for his dedication to the San Diego sports community for over 50 years.

On October 12, 2010, the 10th Annual Teammates Luncheon will be held to honor Rolf Benirschke and his commitment to the San Diego Community.
